Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo was one of several area non-profits awarded a grant through Pizza Hut’s Raising Dough for Kids Foundation. The grant will continue to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo Performing Arts Club (PAC).
Throughout the year, PAC members explore the extensive performing arts community in Buffalo. Members benefit through the exploration of new pathways to creative learning, self expression and non-verbal communication.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo relies on the generosity of companies and individuals to bridge funding gaps for many of its yearlong, ongoing programs. Grants, such as Pizza Hut’s Dough for Kids, provide much need opportunities for our members.
"Grant funding is more important than ever to this organization. It opens doors to experiences and activities that enrich our children’s lives. Our Performing Arts Club was a success last year because of the generosity of Pizza Hut and its customers. We are excited to be able to continue growing the program. Activities such as this strengthen our members’ creative thinking skills,” said Shari McDonough, Chief Professional Officer of Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo.
