Currently, Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo and the Community Health Center of Buffalo, Inc. have collaborated to increase community utilization of existing dental care options and promote access to preventative health care services. Community Health Center has agreed to provide our members with basic dental cleaning, cavity filing and extractions.  Each member and/or their family will receive a preliminary examination and then be treated for follow-up conditions if needed.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo transports eligible youth and their families to the Community Health Center of Buffalo, Inc. for dental care and parents are invited to participate in educational sessions to obtain additional information regarding other health services that are provided by the Community Health Center. With this in mind, BGCB staff urges parents to attend the initial visit with their child. The dental service that is provided to our members is incorporated and integrated with the Crest: Cavity Free Zone Program. We chose this program because it encompasses all aspects of dental health and hygiene while making the members feel comfortable about discussing their own daily dental regime.
