Boys & Girls Clubs Day For Kids

Each year, Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo (BGCB) celebrates Boys & Girls Clubs Day for Kids on the third Sunday of September. The goal of this day is to influence our government to make Day for Kids a national holiday, much the same way we celebrate Mother’s Day or Father’s Day.

More specifically the objective of this day is to provide communities and families with an opportunity to come together and celebrate the value of our children. We believe in the premise that adults who spend meaningful time with kids fulfill one of the most basic needs in a child’s healthy development. Our organization knows that strong communities and families help build strong kids.
