Supporting our Stars was the theme for the evening at our 2008 AkidEMY AWARDS and everyone came out and did just that. The red carpet rolled out and close to 500 guests enjoyed the sounds of Taylor Made Jazz at our cocktail hour, followed by the sounds of Jack Civiletto. It was surely an unforgettable evening, especially as our members displayed their talents to Michael Jackson’s Thriller, Chicago, and The Wiz. The food was delectable and most importantly guests had a chance to meet some of the most amazing Youth this city has to offer, our members. The night couldn’t have a better ending than the announcement of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo 2008 Youth of the Year, Timothy Broadus of the Masten Clubhouse. Everyone’s support will provide thousands of youth with outstanding programs and continued support to become successful adults.
