Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo, WGRZ Ch. 2 News and Walmart are at it again! A student in Buffalo is in need of your help! We are asking you to ensure that underprivileged youth start the school year off right!

We will be collecting backpacks and school supplies at 6 Walmart locations throughout Western New York. Last year you helped over 4,000 youth go to school prepared. Help us reach our goal of 5,000 youth this year!

We will be at the Super Walmart located at 5033 Transit Road from 6:00 am – 9:00 pm with live broadcasts from WGRZ Channel 2 News and 93.7 WBLK! All other locations will begin collecting supplies at 9:00 am.

Want to Volunteer?

We need volunteers to help unload supplies and pack the backpacks. We need 15-20 volunteers for each shift. Individuals and groups are welcome! To sign up or for more information, please contact Danielle N. Judge-Johnson at 716-825-1016 ext. 220. The following times are available to volunteer:

Wednesday 8/27 (Unload supplies from Buses)
9:00 – 11:30 pm

Thursday 8/28 (Sort supplies & pack backpacks)
8 am – 9 pm Various shifts throughout the day

Friday 8/29 (Sort supplies & pack backpacks)
8 am – 9 pm Various shifts throughout the day

Saturday 8/30 (If needed)
9 am – 1 pm
