Club Director / Site Director
Full Time
Candidates must have: strong organizational & communication skills – both written and verbal and a background in planning & implementing programs. Candidates must have experience managing an entire program/building that includes supervising staff, scheduling programs, community involvement, membership recruitment, interviewing & training staff. Must be an active, hands-on person able to handle groups and Must also possess a valid NYS driver’s license for 3 years to meet the eligibility requirements of insurance company for operating club vehicle(s) and have a degree in child development, elementary/physical education, recreation or related field, have 2 years experience working with youth under the age of 13 and one (1) year supervisory experience. Education Director

This full-time position is responsible for implementing and over-seeing all educational programming at the Clubhouse.
Candidates must have: strong communication skills - both written and verbal, 2 year’s experience working with youth ages 13-18, strong organizational skills and a four (4) year degree in education or a related field. Responsible for overseeing the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of the Core Program Areas of Character and Leadership Development, Education and Career Development within a designated Club and provides leadership and supervision to part-time and volunteer staff. Demonstrated knowledge of principles related to youth development; program management; and group leadership skills, including an understanding of group dynamics is required. Must be an energetic, hands-on person able to handle large and small groups. Prevention Specialist

This full-time position is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of the Core Program Area of Health & Life Skills and the case management services, referral agencies, and prevention, intervention, and re-entry programming within a designated Club. Provides demonstrated knowledge of principles related to youth development, program management, case management for high risk youth and group leadership skills, including an understanding of group dynamics. A four-year college degree from an accredited college in related area of social work is required. Minimum of one year of experience working with youth in a case management capacity preferred. Responsible for data entry of club membership information. Must be computer literate, able to accurately enter data and navigate through Microsoft Office applications. High School diploma and/or data entry experience required.
ISS Teacher

This part time position is responsible for providing quality classroom instruction. Knowledgeable in differentiated instruction to provide appropriate teaching to a variety of grade ranges they serve, overseeing the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of the of the In School Suspension(ISS) and Alternative Learning Center (ALC). Must have demonstrated knowledge of principles related to youth development, program management and group leadership skills including and understanding of group dynamics. A four year college degree from an accredited college in education or related are is required as well as permanent or provisional teaching certification. Minimum of one year experience working with youth in an educational capacity preferred. Must have demonstrated ability to work successfully with children and youth.
OSS Teacher
Part Time
This part time position is responsible for providing quality classroom instruction and to provide appropriate teaching to a variety of grade ranges they serve, overseeing the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of the of the Out of School Suspension (OSS) program. Must have demonstrated knowledge of principles related to youth development, program management and group leadership skills including and understanding of group dynamics. OSS Teacher will prepare lesson plans and coordinate transportation for referred youth in suspension program. A four year college degree from an accredited college in education or related are is required as well as permanent or provisional teaching certification. This part-time positions is responsible for preparing meals in accordance with menus, monitoring inventory and ordering supplies, keeping equipment and Kid’s Café clean and completing meal counts. Tutor
Part Time
This part-time position is responsible for tutoring youth ages 6-18 in Clubhouses participating in SES programming. Candidates must have strong communication skills – both written and verbal and experience working with youth. HS diploma required and some college preferred but a degree is not required. CPR and First Aid training is a plus.
Cleaner
Temporary Full Time
This temporary full-time (may become permanent) position requires that candidates have strong cleaning or janitorial experience. Must be an active, energetic, hands-on person able to lift up to 50 lbs. and have a diverse range of skills including grounds maintenance. Must possess a valid NYS driver’s license for 3 years and have the ability to work flexible hours as well as travel to various sites. HS diploma required and some college preferred.
