A Grateful Alum Remembers

It was a walk down memory lane for one very grateful alum. Robert “Bob” Delaney started at the Babcock Boys Club in 1938. Throughout his years, his connection with the clubhouse has never waned. From member, to volunteer, to board member and now a proud alum, his years here are among his fondest memories, While a member at the Club, he ran the wood shop, helped with the radio station and, at that time, their ceramics program. He received many awards, but of them his most treasured is, “The man behind the boy” award. A note sent a few days later reiterates this treasured memory.
